Each account may have from one to four platforms enabled or disabled.
Each platform has its own pricing and packages that define number of tasks in a platform and frequency of monitoring.
All platforms managed from the same central interface.
Pricing is all inclusive. All reports, diagnostic tools, all monitoring locations included in a price. The only extra cost per occurrence for SMS and Phone alerts.

Web Application monitoring, such as shopping cart transactions, portal logins, filling out forms and etc. could be monitored by ServerView and UserView Platforms. UserView Monitoring™

Used only for monitoring Web based application using actual Internet Explorer version 8 Browser. Scripts are recorded and played inside the real browser simulating end-user events such as clicks, text type, hovers and ect. Works well with AJAX, Java Script heavy sites, Single Sign-On applications and other web applications where complex interactions are required. LoadView Monitoring™

Provides Stress Test services. Load is generated from 10 locations around the globe, simulating Real Users from outside your network. It is on demand, self-setup and self-managed execution service. Stress tests could be setup within minutes and price is based on each load test.

Bob has monitoring requirements for the following services:

8 Websites - every 5 minutes
2 Mail Servers - every 15 minutes
2 DNS Servers - every 10 Minutes
1 FTP - once an hour
Shopping Cart Process has 8 Steps - every 15 minutes
Basic Online Portal Login which has 3 steps - every 10 minutes
Bob expects users to place from 10 to 50 orders every hour on his website

Based on monitoring requirements Bob will need three monitoring platforms.

ServerView Monitoring:

Covers websites, mail servers, DNS servers, FTP and Portal Login process. Bob will need ServerView Monitoring Premium II package for $209.99/month. ServerView Premium II will monitor up to 20 items with maximum frequency up to 5 minutes.

UserView Monitoring:

To Monitor Shopping cart Bob needs to use UserView Standard I package for $159.99/month. It will monitor up to 10 steps every 15 minutes.

MetricsView Monitoring:

To notify Bob if he receives less than 10 orders or over 50 orders in any given hour, Bob needs MetricsView. Because there is only one task, Bob can buy Ala Carta Package. Once an hour MerticsView costs is $6.99/month.
